In this emergency podcast released just minutes after the Supreme Court ruled that women will be forced to give birth should they become pregnant, Michael Moore joins women’s groups in calling for nationwide protests in cities across the country — today, tonight and every day until full rights are restored to women.
On this day of infamy, Mike asks friend and podcaster Francesca Fiorentini to read the first feminist proclamation from 1791 — “Declaration of the Rights of Women” by Olympe de Gouges. It’s sickening how little has changed. For her treason against the patriarchy, de Gouges was beheaded. A thought that must make this Court smile.
